A discussion on Skripal, British intelligence, and Bellingcat

I recently sat down with Niall of the dependably excellent Assassinations Podcast to discuss the ever-mysterious March 2018 Salisbury incident.

Along the way, we dissected the constantly evolving, ever-contradictory and invariably unconvincing official narrative, Sergei Skripal’s Russian military intelligence background and spell as double agent, Bellingcat’s shady contributions to the case, the OPCW being exploited to further Western foreign policy agendas, and more.

Niall is to be applauded for approaching this subject critically and sceptically. The informational well around Salisbury has by design been so comprehensively poisoned that dissident journalists are seemingly wary of asking very obvious questions. One need only review mainstream media reporting though to conclude we really do not know what happened that day, and the public have been consistently manipulated and deceived on so many key points. It’s often forgotten too it was a veteran Channel 4 journalist who dared first publicise that a DSMA notice was circulated by British authorities in the wake of the Skripals’ poisoning, warning journalists and editors against naming “intelligence agency personnel associated with Sergei Skripal.” Like Pablo Miller, for instance. Sergei’s MI6 recruiter, handler, and neighbour - and senior analyst at Christopher Steele’s Orbis Intelligence.

Anyway, as I say, Niall’s podcast is fantastic, the episodes consistently delving into all manner of topics and events in a highly illuminating and informative manner. Even when I’m familiar with the subject matter I typically end up learning many new things along the way, and the journey’s engaging always. To say the least, it’s very much deserving of your time, and support.
