But I must talk about "Keir Starmer’s landslide July general election win"
For info, Kier Starmer did not have a landslide win, it's just that voters refused to vote for the Tories, so Starmers party won by default, not because anyone actually wanted them.
Labour actually got less votes than the last time they lost to the Tories.
Exactly what happened in the last Australian federal elections. The major capitalist parties received record low votes and the Labor Party got in by preferences and default.
And overall capitalist government priorities continue, aided by some gender-identity virtue-signalling and by sudden concern about expressions of "anti-semitism". The previous PM, Scott Morrison, had made himself wildly unpopular by holidaying overseas while the country burned, so ostensibly the current PM, Anthony Albanese, entered with at least a mandate to change what was. But he's continued and extended Australia's funnelling wealth, quite pointlessly, into the arms industry. (Gotta have those nuclear subs!!) And seems quietly happy with ongoing Oz institutional complicity in genocide in Gaza.
The age of empires is fading away quickly as the rest of the world is working hard towards multipolarity. The Brits and their now grownup colonies, the U.S., Australia, N.Z. and Canada don't want to change. The U.S is is the eldest brother who has inherited the mantle of the British empire and doing its best to maintain that façade of empire, with help from its parent. Australia and the others are just following along because they have been warned not to step out of line with elder brother and parent.
Russia, China, India and the global south have had enough and are now doing something about it. It will take a few more years to bring it all to full fruition and by then, the last vestiges of the British empire and its children will be gone. Leaving a lot of economic devastation in its wake. I am concerned about the ordinary people who will have to suffer when these governments eventually fail altogether finally and something else takes its place. They usually aren't democracies if history is any teacher.
As usual very informative piece. You continue to report cited information not seen anywhere else. The fact the Ukraine is now virtually destroyed and has no chance of winning a military war probably won't stop "The Atlantic Alliance" from using the Ukrainians as cannon fodder and stoking economic chaos in Europe.
In JD Vance's interview with Joe Rogan he stated that he has learned in his time in Washington that there are 3 issues the establishment does not want challenged, and those are trade, immigration and most importantly foreign policy. Early on Washington establishment, and thus Britain recognized that Trump could be a threat to its Ukraine agenda and narrative. The full force of the DNC, Intel community and their mainstream corporate media lackeys have used their so called tools against Trump for his perceived threat to their so called plans.
So more proof that we on this septic isle the UK are being put at risk by "our" government, just as the Neoconservative party (formerly the Democratic party) endangers Americans as well as the world. Of the two evils the lesser IMHO is Trump, and if he does win this interference will be seen as a very stupid move. These people have already caused a lot of damage, and Steele is seen as a dangerous conman, while Aaron Mate made Luke Harding's arrogance and stupidity very clear for all to see on YouTube, back in the good old days of Russiagate.
I have to disagree on one point, there is no lesser evil, both support the genocide and Trump is willing to staff his administration with the same sort of people he had before, war hawks and psychopaths. US foreign policy hasn't changed since WWII, what makes you think he would have a choice even if he wanted a change, there's ¾ century of inertia to overcome?
RFK, while also a recent convert to zionism and supporter of their apartheid/genocide schemes, is at least likely to fix the broken health system in USA.
Given that it doesn't matter a jot which gilded puppet perches their gilded arse in the Oval Office, and in fake democracies like the US and the UK elections are nothing but theatre to fool the masses (and replete with vote rigging to ensure the 'right' puppet wins, if necessary), and neither of those two cheeks (of the same arse) decide on the major policy issues (although we can discern what the puppet masters' policies will be by which gilded figurehead/scapegoat wins - so it's not unimportant, in that sense), and furthermore it's inconceivable that the Circus doesn't know this (they would be involved, after all), all of this kind of stuff strikes me as a limited hangout. Specifically, however, directed against the alt media to make them, too, believe in the theatrical illusion of 'democracy' and 'choice'.
All the lies we are being could, in the end, benefit Trump who is a horrible misogynist as well as a genocide supporter. Kamala is also a disgusting genocide supporter and a weak person in general. There are just no good choices if people do choose to vote. The worst result of all the lies and manipulations is that nobody believes anything any more which leaves us open to just about anything.
Yes, the Institute for Statecraft is a menace and a nexus of corrupt intrigue. Around which we need to understand more as it could help elucidate the US-UK deep state relations. But it's not clear that this interesting clip from General Barrons helps much with that. Barrons here comes across as the veteran neo-colonial commander he is, trying offer something which will reinforce the ability of people like him to carry out their 'responsibilities.' Maybe even audition for a senior NATO role as Churchill's military chief once did.
But there are no special geopolitical insights here and nothing to help us weigh strategic alternatives. Simply the knee jerk reaction that you can avert autonomist tendencies by applying more military force. Everything we've learned since 2016 underlines how hollow that notion of security is compared with the pursuit of mutuality such as we see around BRICS.
Barrons' talk was presented five months after the Brexit referendum. Perhaps he seeks to suggest how London can nevertheless be relevant to Washington her, but no insight into that relationship apart from the reminder of the role played by what one might call the role of individual as distinct from institutional inertia among those directly concerned.
Indeed. All good points. What I find grotesquely amusing is Barrons's CV of failure - Afghanistan, Iraq, Ukraine... It's sick that there is a stratum of elite power that allows pricks like this to keep gambling despite heavy losses.
Lovely in depth article about the spin masters picking the more appropriate puppets for their masters, the businessmen, gangsters and bankers.
The art of espionage and interference is so natural and accepted by the British Intelligence Community, it is almost their birth right. Habits left over from Empire days, and extended by the rise of the USA since WW2.
It is all coming to a beautiful end though, where Britian will be just the island it is and no James Bond, oh sorry, Christopher Steele, movies will be made anymore.
That's what happens if you dumb down your population, make them lazy, and tell them they're the best! As has happened in Britian and the USA over the last 80 years.
The last sentence is chilling, but very important. Trump isn't safe with these people running around. I see London's fingerprints all over both assassination attempts, and of course they sent an actual English assassin to Vegas in 2016 to eliminate him.
You see the mirror; like the Israelis the masters of the universe believe that by taking out a "leader" like Trump they can alter the trajectory of a rotten history. They have largely disenfranchised voters seeing them as a threat to the permanent state; it's their bipolar fear and hubris that leads to a bad end.
Excellent piece. Thank you.

Turnout was low and barely one voter in five voted Labour. Hardly a triumph. Democracy is dead in the UK, if it ever was alive.

Bought and paid for like the rest.
Ultimately though Albanese’ entire Schtick is ‘I’m not Dutton’, which is basically the extent of what he has to offer.
Absolutely. It's pathetic.
I'm not sure it is hatred for Russians...I think it is more likely a long standing avarice for Russian resources.

Fascinating and disturbing.

Oh my. British just can't let go of their old status.
Even IF Trump gets in I can't see him surviving for long with these idiots in little England doing their smartarse machinations.
Excellent editorial.

UK the "septic isle " That's really good!

Apologies for that long first sentence, btw.

Surely this is what the globalists want? It paves the way for a 'One World Government' which would be even more of a disaster.
ScKamala put in in jail after I ran for mayor of SF killafornia in 2007.
They tried to put Trump in jail.
How many times will they try to assassinate him?
Oh, they wouldn't do that, nope.
They gave me solitary isolation and shut down my Grasshopper taxi forevermore.
I can barely afford to breathe now
Thank you !!

Interesting, who did they send?
A deranged prick named Michael Sandford
