The USSA is just as guilty as the Zionists are.

Qualify that statement as "the U.S. government" is as guilty. Millions of U.S. citizens are appalled and opposed to genocide. Just because corporate media doesn't report on what U.S. citizens think, doesn't mean they aren't thinking that genocide is evil.

When

- the biggest US social media company is conspiring with the genocidal regime to busy proof and protest against genocide: https://www.dropsitenews.com/p/leaked-data-israeli-censorship-meta

- both of the two biggest political parties have used their government powers to fund, arm and protect the genocidal criminal regime of Israel

- all the US local city police forces are busy arresting people for protesting against genocide,

- most US states have enacted laws banning boycotts of Israel's colonial occupation

- the US immigration and internal security department is sending masked men in plain clothes to haul law-abiding people in the US off the streets, for the non-crime WRITING newspaper colums protesting genoicde

- all the big money US oligarchs are forcing universities they fund to eject students for protesting genocide

- the same people are forcing museums and arts centres to ban any art that protests or even MENTIONS genocide

- Hollywood is blacklisting artists for opposing genocide, and ensuring that their Oscars, Grammys etc dont use their platform to oppose genocide

- Hollywood studios and theaters and are refusing to show the many recent documentaries of the genocide

- Netflix and the the TV networks are refusing to show those documentaries and are even ERASING from their offerings many previously existing documentaries and films by Palestinians

- US employers like google, Amazon, Microsoft, Oracle, Dell etc are firing employees for opposing their selling products services that assist in genocide....

....you simply CANNOT claim that only the US government or media are complicit in genocide

The fact is that huge swathes of the US, including an overwhelming majority of not just the wealthy oligarchy at the top, but also every aspect of the managerial class....are using their power to ASSIST and PROTECT Israel's carrying out of the holocaust of our time.

Its a disgrace. History will judge them harshly for their complicity. And will judge badly anyone who persists in diminishing or denying the scale and breadth of the complicity here.

The average American is as oblivious as can be to the genocide, all the while diligently attending their favorite zionist church.

When I use the term USSA, it's my favorite way to describe the government.

When you say millions of citizens, oppose, I say a far greater number support the genocide, largely because of ignorance. It's not my fault that they watch the Main Stream Media instead of actually educating themselves. I'm hoping that the number is changing daily as more and more people are being exposed to the outright evil that is being supported and financed by our legislators and zionist pastors all over the country. Just look at that scumbag, Mike Huckabee.

They are not oblivious. They knowingly vote for AIPAC tools every single time. AIPAC exists to steer VOTES of these people - would not be effective if the average American was actually opposed to the policy actions or the political figures that AIPAC enables.

I doubt many voters in the US are aware of AIPAC's all pervasive influence, if asked, they would probably say they had never heard of it, or assume it was a sports program.

Trump won on two issues; deporting the illegials and ending all wars. It appears the deport promise may have been a ploy to install mandatory ID. Something they had hoped to install via covid. Now it is back disguised as "safe voting."

As for ending wars, this self professed Peace President has failed his supporters on this as well. His recent description of Gaza as prime real estate that the Israeli govt 'gave" to the Palestinians was an all new low. Surprised all of the press in the room into a frozen silence.

Americians are not stupid for the most part, the problem is and has been since its founding; they are lied to by those they trust to govern. Looks like MAGA was the one of the biggest cons yet.

NO ONE voted for MIGA. He will be slaughtered in the midterms is my guess and the clown car will roll on.

You're lost.

Everyone knows the policies that the candiates AIPAC supports, are on. And they vote for those candidates.

Trump is not new or a mystery. He was president before. And the last time around he went bonkers on tarrifs, and he supported Israel in all their misdeeds, including the US offically supporting the israeli annexation of Jerusalem. The killing of palestinians by Israel began to rise back when trump was on office. "October 7th" was not a sudden event.

All of it was known. But American are largely dimwits and they vote for a-hole candiates.

Frances Lynch's avatar

I disagree, they don't know about AIPAC, they didn't and still don't see a problem with tarriffs, and his support of Israel this time around is far more egregious.

They had a choice between Harris and Trump, they went with the one who promised jobs and peace.

May it be so. That those who kill, maim, destroy lives of other human beings be tried. May they be kept to relinquish their days in service of labour to repair the devastations in this place.

May the hideous acts be called what they are & punishment of reparations be consequences.

No more "freedom for genocide." Accountability begins now. From all our "top officials" down to those who teach their children to harm others. This must now ensue. No more lies.

Just finished Omar El Akkad's small book: "One Day Everyone Will Have Been Against This."

May this be the day we-all awaken to the truth of evil we allowed. Start with truth.

May this be a day of no more freedom for genociders.

May the return to occupied Palestine begin today.

May war criminals be trained in the languages, the truths of those they've occupied.

May each one spend the remainder of their lives reworking the rubble of the 100,00s of humans they have deprived. No pardons. No more excuses. Truth, justice, lifelong reparations.

This means all of US.

Eternal shame on all of US.

No reparations are able to pay back the billions taken for bombs, the societal agreements to manufacture & supply these, the military "trainings to use death machines" to kill people.

In Palestine, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq, Libya...it must end now. Start now.

In 2025 we must end what evil we have allowed to be perpetrated. Act now.

May it be so.

Thank you, Kit. Thank you, fine journalists, everywhere.

Alive or dead. And yet to become our truth-tellers.

Amen.

Accusations do not end genocide- 18 months have passed - Israel has accomplished their goal and will continue to do so - no one ever asks why the Brits and Americans did not bomb train lines delivering the Jews to extermination camps during WWII - or why immigration laws in the 1930’s were so restrictive in the US and after the war. Anti-semitism was alive and well and gave rise to the overly powerful Zionist Israeli lobby today - the Zionists learned well and today emulate Nazi Germany in their abhorrent treatment of the Palestinians who are also a Semitic people.

Nothing will be done only the Houthis practice humanity on behalf of the Palestinians.

Karla M LaZier's avatar

Good question but if you accept that Jews all arise from the 12 tribes of Israel it may be a lot- however diaspora always results in inter marriage within other ethnic and religious groups over time and conversion to Judaism by others over millennia plus Zionism is a Rothschild construction presented as the restoration of the Jews to Israel but in fact was a land grab for the Middle East. From my perspective not enough “Semite’s” to justify the separatist beliefs of Jews religiously, politically and culturally living in Israel to continue to marginalize the rightful residents and murder with impunity while the world stands by and watches - be careful- we are all Palestinians.

Witness the American Zionist free speech suppression at present in the USA and the right to protest deemed an act of war in America if done on behalf of Palestinians thus allowing suppression of visa holding foreign college students without due process and resulting in their deportation. American citizen Zionists with the power to suppress our and their constitution, clearly they see all non Jewish American residents here legally as visitors and as citizens as they view the Palestinians. Their rights have sidelined our constitutional rights - we should all be afraid is the message - Ask what percent of our American population is Jewish and then ask how they have this much power to control us in our country with what is supposed to be a sacred right for all. Sad times.

Just imagine native Americans have now acquired via the legal system and support of world opinion the retroactive power to do what the Zionists in Israel are doing and have been doing for a very long time and then acting by nullifying the deeds to our homes and our right to make a living in their country and putting us on reservations controlled by their people. Always put oneself in the place of the other to get perspective. We are all Palestinians.

Sorry, I was thinking of those in permanent residence before 1948. I picked a flea in your otherwise informative comment, it was "Palestinians who are also a Semitic people" after 'Zionists' in that same sentence. It caught my attention. But I further appreciate your response referring to the "rightful residents" And I applaud your thoughts on being whipped from our homes to live on reservations. Who knows. Years ago I experienced a week with a group not my own who had Americans pegged even then and me with no idea of the source of their all very civilized disdain. Regardless of constant pestering, a foreign friend after that always avoided my questions about what the rest of the world really thought of Americans. It should be a relief to at least stop the carnage. However, with diplomacy and morality, self-examination and humanity seem banished from our vocabulary Thank you for your thoughtful reply.

The United Natons has already previously officially identified Israel as a rogue state. However expelling such a state is not simple or easy when the rogue state backed by powerful nations:

According to the Repertory of practice of United Nations organs, at least two attempts have been made to expel a state: South Africa for its policy of apartheid in 1974, and Israel for its occupation of the Palestinian territories. Neither attempt was successful.[4][5]

KK it's nearly a year since the ICJ declared Israel must leave Occupied Palestine and UN members must speed its exit. If members were held to their obligation, all support to Israel would stop. No money, no weapons. With consequences applied by the members for laggards to comply. Yet ICJ Case 186 seems absolutely disappeared. With nary a peep by mainstream or independent media. There were not no people - the Palestinians' right to self-determination dictates no two state solution yet there are still proponents.

Why? It is without sense and it is without law. Or please explain.

The Holiness of Palestine-Israel being the LAND-BRIDGE between the Mega-Continents of Eurasia & Africa, has been in its peoples' stewardship with long welcoming reception & economic inclusion as hosts to the inevitable traveler, trades-person & refugee. Muslims, Christians & Mizrahi/Arab or Sephardic Jews were collaborative neighbours. At 1st Palestinians 100 years ago, welcomed, included & protected the Ashkenazi, but soon after repeated land-theft & massacres by Irgun-Lehi, Stern-gang, Hagenah soldiers, Mossad etc., realized the conquest intention of the Ashkenazi.

"I can imagine a fully armed man to be at heart a coward. Possession of arms implies an element of fear, if not cowardice. But true non-violence is an impossibility without the possession of unadulterated fearlessness." Mohandas Gandhi in Harijan, 15-7-'39, p. 201

INTELLECTUAL COWARDICE OR TRUTH & RECONCILIATION? European Ashkenazi could have & still can engage with their Palestinian neighbours & governments in BOTH-SIDES-NOW, Equal-time, Recorded & Published DIALOGUES in order to lay the foundation for understanding, collaboration, working-relationships & Conflict-resolution with Palestinians. No bloodshed required. Refusal to engage in formal dialogue is intellectual-cowardice, although common in our western Oligarch institutional MONOLOGUES. Cowardly people find it easier to kill, eliminating mental challenge than to be honest in dialogue. Zionists have only proved their cowardice.

Indigenous people refer to this as COUNCIL-PROCESS, Socrates as 'Dialectic-Rights, Mohandas Gandhi as 'Satyagraha' = 'Truth-Search' as part of India's 'Swadeshi' (Hindi 'Indigenous' aka 'Self-sufficiency') movement as the Economic Engine which asserted Independence. Formal Dialogues or Dialectics mimic the functioning of the human mind. Both eyes for example see in 2-dimensions, but the images are joined in the Neural Cortex for their differences in order to construct a 3-D working model of the world we live & act in. All senses of Smell, Hearing & Kinetic body movement from our 2 arms, legs & sides add 'dialectic' ('both-sided') dimensions to the world we perceive. When people are recorded & held responsible for what they say, reputation is put out into the public & hence becomes more collaborative & engaging. https://sites.google.com/site/indigenecommunity/d-participatory-structure/1-both-sides-now-equal-time-recorded-dialogues
