Amazing work Kit!

It doesn't matter that eu methods are undemocratic, unlawful and unfair - what matters is that they worked. Orban was deposed, Magyar installed, Ukraine got its money.

Altmedia writers have a bad habit of looking for moral victories. Probably because actual victories are in such short supply.

Lux Aeterna's avatar

Sure, force and intimidation usually work in the short term, but how sustainable of a "strategy" is that?

Yes, (((they've))) deposed of Georgiescu and Orban and the action against Vucic in Serbia has intensified, but, as Kit mentions in the article, meanwhile the recently elected Romanian government collapsed and the EUcrats also "lost" Bulgaria, with former president Rumen Radev winning by a vast margin in the most recent elections...

Add the fact that Slovenia is also rising up against globalist dictates, with the recently elected Slovenian government intending to deliver on its promise to hold a referendum on exiting NATO -> https://politicstoday.org/slovenia-plans-referendum-on-nato-membership/

My point is that the EUroPeons are about to (re)discover that keeping the Slavic peoples of SE Europe under constant check is like herding cats! They should've taken notice from former striking experiences as witnessed by the Roman Empire, the Crusaders and Nazi Germany...

Regardless of Balkan countries' official positions as proclaimed by their "political elites", kidnapped and controlled by the Epstein Syndicate, ordinary Balkan people can clearly see through the "Western" veil of deception and the majority is strongly opposed to taking part in a brain-dead and futile war against their Russian brothers or on China.

Nobody cares what ordinary people think or like or want.

Yeah, sure, until the shooting starts…

Who is shooting and when does it start?

As a fool I was conversing with elsewhere posted this gem, "It doesn't matter how [the US/EU] promotes [neoliberalism], as long as they get there."

Whats the difference between neoliberalism, conservative nationalism or authoritarianism, if the people it's imposed on, have no choice in its imposition?

Feral Finster's avatar

Power is famously indifferent to ideology, except as it can be weaponized.

Marledonna's avatar

Looking for some kind of justice, but can’t find it😢

In essence you are telling me to accept the many lies coming from the EU bureaucracy. Lies that result in the destruction of lives of others.

Can’t ofcourse insult the Gauleiter, cause the gestapo maybe soon visiting…

Feral Finster's avatar

Accept it? No. Pretend that we're really winning? Stop kidding yourself.

That's not what I said atcall. What i said was "stop kidding yourself".

I don't see how that article implies that "someone is kidding themselves"

Like the Russians say, Europe will never forgive them for defeating the Nazis. The problem is, they weren't defeated, they just moved to NATO, the German police and the CIA/MI6 etc., apparently their offspring, to the EU as well. Who could imagine that after Churchill having already had a plan to attack the USSR, with the US, before WWII ended.(spelling edit)

The EU is stupidly squeezing itself between eastern Europe and the U.S. The want to be the big dogs on the continent still, with Brussels in charge, or more to the point, Von Der Leyen. This will eventually be the end of the EU bloc as more and more smaller nations decide that they are done being bullied. All of these power struggles will come to a semi-violent end soon.

Feral Finster's avatar

Don't kid yourself. As long as Brussels can dole out goodies to local elites, as long as europe and America signify prestige, they'll always choose the West, even if that means slitting their own children's throats.

The link explains the dynamic nicely.

Western Civilization has grown to greatness in science, technology, and improvements in living standards, due to the efforts of an extremely small number of great minds — and I do mean extremely. The vast majority are mindless sheep. But even great minds can only do so much; fools rule.

LaVerne Karras's avatar

Great insights, you can see it manifested in every instance the author listed and more, it happens in Canada just the same.

Tatjana's avatar

I suggest one correction, to be more accurate: "EU regime" or "EU Nazi regime". Whoever knows the recent history of Ukraine, knows where EU Nazi regime is leading European citizens. EU Nazi elites consider us as cannonfodder, or, to be more accurate, bio material (not only for soldiers, but above all organ harvesting objects).

Terrance Ó Domhnaill's avatar

I am seeing that from the Russian news feeds, among others. I keep asking myself how much longer the European countries will tolerate all of this imperialism coming from Brussels? Given that some of the smaller, Slovak countries are starting to push back, will they be the first ones to break away one they see the money fade away? Trump is pulling back hard and the EU was heavily dependent on U.S. support. Without it, things may start changing dramatically. I hope for the good in your case.

Europeans like being slaves.

Semi-violent won't get it.

Most likely you are correct having just read an article by Chris Hedges intimating the same.

'hope springs eternal'. however from its inception it's been a very uneven fighting arena. right after the end of WWII the formation of a European bloc was a US-supported project: "...taking a look back through archival history, one finds that 'it was Washington that drove European integration in the late 1940s,' and Washington that 'funded it covertly under the Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, and Nixon administrations.'..." - https://infiniteunknown.net/2016/06/28/eu-was-a-cia-project-from-the-beginning/

the EU is power hungry and colonialist, with 'Brussels' sucking up resources and sovereignity be damned.

Evelyn K. Brunswick's avatar

One reason why they kept WW2 going as long as they could, so Europe would effectively destroy itself, leaving no serious competitor. Patten, if I recall, could've ended the war by September but high command didn't give him the fuel he needed, which effectively allowed the genocidal mass rapist Bolsheviks to rape and pillage their way all the way to Berlin.

By which time, if I also recall, Patten had died a suspicious death...

Still, it always requires the complicity of traitors on this side of the Atlantic (Churchill for one). US couldn't have taken out Nordstream without complicity (SIS). Similar with all false flags - people mention Mossad all the time but they can't do a false flag on someone else's territory without permission from the national spy agency.

What utter ill informed nonsense. All of the historical evidence, don't take my word for it read the work of leading western military historians such as David Glantz, Jon Erickson, Richard Overy, Michael Jones I could go on, points to the fact that it was the Red Army which broke the back of the genocidal German Wehrmacht and its many European allies. Even Churchill admitted this in his multi volume history of WW2. The Red Army lost over 6 million men while those of the UK/US completely pale in comparison. 90% of the German casualties were on the Eastern Front. Even after D-Day over 70% of the Wehrmacht was fighting on the Eastern Front in a doomed attempt to slow down the Red Army advance on Berlin. As the Nazis retreated all the way to Berlin they pursued a scorched earth policy destroying thousands of villages, towns and cities and killing many hundreds of thousands.

D-Day was a picnic compared to gigantic battles such as Stalingrad and Kursk which the leading Nazi commanders such as Heinz Guderian and Eric Manstein accepted were decisive for the defeat of the genocidal Wehrmacht. Sadly, as Marshall Zhukov once quipped to the chief of the general staff of the Red Army the Europeans will never forgive us for liberating them from fascism.

Wow: the detailing here of the clearly anti-democratic nature of the EU’s Digital Services Act and the extremely dodgy Ursula von der Leyen makes a frightening read. The Lexiter arguments are clear from this perspective: that term refers to the left-wing opponents of EU membership in the infamous 2016 referendum. It is especially unfortunate that the leave / remain debate in Britain descended to one of simple racism. As ever, in a British vote, the racists won. Of course, the arguments which underlie EU membership are much deeper than ‘we don’t want foreigners telling us what to do’. The much bigger fight is against neoliberalism, and that goes much deeper.

Evelyn K. Brunswick's avatar

Very good point. Normally I'd have voted leave, out of anti-imperialist and sovereignty concerns, but it depends entirely on the national government. Voting leave with the Tories in charge was simply not an option. With a genuine socialist in charge, absolutely. But that will never happen.

You absolutely are (more than most of us can say for ourselves)! Not just the truths you’ve been uncovering, your writing style is also enjoyable to read. I’m sure I’m not alone in feeling this way.

Please take care of yourself, given the often horrendous subject matters you’re dealing with.

This year’s commencement speaker at the College of William & Mary was Francis Fukuyama. I attended my granddaughter’s graduation. The topic of Fukuyama’s speech was the importance of ridding the world of leaders like Orban. There was no reason of why Orban should be overthrown nor any instance of crimes he is guilty. Yet, the crowd cheered. It was the most vile experience I witnessed at all college graduations I’ve attended.
