September 27th marked Google’s 25th birthday. In commemoration, the technology giant issued a statement, thanking its users for their “curiosity” over the past two-and-a-half decades. CEO Sundar Pichai said it was “an enormous privilege to reach this milestone, and we haven’t done it alone.” He credited his company being “what it is today” due to its employees, partners, and “most importantly, all the people who use our products.”
It is perpetually nauseating the manner in which these people act on our behalf for “national security” and yet, we have NEVER been less secure. Stellar reporting, Kit. Thank-you.
This background is key today for everyone to put events (aka "emergencies" such as geophysical and political) into context, particularly since msm concentrates its efforts in obfuscating them.
Wasn't the Internet itself made available for the public for the same reason? And people volunteer to provide more data on Skype, Fakebook et al. that serve the very same purpose...

Years ago i discovered following Eric Schmidt’s travels and meetings told me everything I needed to know about Google.
All abundantly clear in in his post-Google career, although fortunately he’s mainly selling snake oil to the military these days XD
