Top notch again Kit. I’ve oft heard the plausible rumour, but never seen/reas anything this concrete.

Ooof it’s pretty nauseating to think what they know and understand about me.

I remember being in that beta gmail group through a mate. And being excited about it. That must be 22 years ago now if not more.

Thanks man. Keep well!

It is perpetually nauseating the manner in which these people act on our behalf for “national security” and yet, we have NEVER been less secure. Stellar reporting, Kit. Thank-you.

I've known some of this a long time, but not the specifics. Great work as usual.

I would be surprised if any US oligarch of the last 30 years does NOT have significant ties to the IC.

The Empire will allow you to get obscenely wealthy if you give them a back door to your customers.

Wasn't the Internet itself made available for the public for the same reason? And people volunteer to provide more data on Skype, Fakebook et al. that serve the very same purpose...

This background is key today for everyone to put events (aka "emergencies" such as geophysical and political) into context, particularly since msm concentrates its efforts in obfuscating them.

Excellent article I have never read covered in such depth before.

Very informative indeed. Thanks again Kit for taking the cover off a nefarious man hole. Without this information there is no way an average Joe could make an informed decision about how to proceed. Cohen was the poison in the intelligence communities fangs.

I assumed the Google/Spookle connections common knowledge, without knowing the "granularity" of those ties.

It is not surprising that the security community helped fund Google from its earliest days. That cozy relationship between universities and government agencies (including the CIA) has existed since the end of World War II. When 9/11 happened, surveillance expanded, and civil rights and privacy took a back seat to the war on terror. Instead of these programs fading away, they have only grown stronger.

The reality is that the very space Google and Apple created for surveillance is the same space sophisticated hackers exploit to gain total control, allowing them to constantly track and spy on their victims.

It is frightening to realize that this relationship is cozier than ever, and history has shown that governments will abuse this power whenever they have access to such technology.

Nobody knows, nobody cares, or they choose to remain silent—and that silence is permission for the abuse to continue.

They’re all fronts.. Apple, Tesla, etc. Steve Jobs and Elon Musk are actors.
