Just imagine — the CIA stirring up another international mess. Shocking, right? This is the pattern with almost every operation they fomented. Swap the names, swap the borders, and the script barely budges. One MO, a few cosmetic tweaks, same wreckage in the rearview.
And spare me the nostalgia. A disturbing number of the people running those missions were genuine psychopaths with a budget and zero adult supervision.
I just finished 'Legacy of Ashes' by Tim Weiner. The book doesn’t “suggest” anything — it spells out, line by line, the incompetence, the lunacy, and the rot running through the CIA and the political class that kept feeding it. At times you get the sense these lunatics could literally drop a steaming pile of crap on the table, rebrand it as a “plan to stop communism,” and some suit up the chain would rubber-stamp it without blinking.
The Sino-Indian disaster of ’59 wasn’t the outlier. It was the well-worn template for failure and chaos.
Every religion has been weaponized by Imperialism.
Brits did it in India to put Hindus against Muslims (Pakistan), and even Muslims against each other (Sunni vs Shia), they also created the ethno-supremacist ideology called Zionism and founded their colony called Israel to put Jews against Arabs.
Always the same central character fomenting chaos every where around the world, in attempts to control it or hinder others from cooperating and progressing.
Imagine if they had instead focused on taking care of their own people? By now, they might even have free national healthcare, free schools, and healthy minds.
But always the wrong path, and in their own neglected society have gone mad, paranoid and are on the verge of destroying the entire planet. Out of sheer blind greed.
I understand that the British had become accustomed to profiting by exploiting India and China, and the US took up the mantle, but why was Tibet a target? Other than Vajrayana Buddhism, which inadvertently became exported to the West, Tibet has few obvious and accessible natural resources. Lapis Lazuli? Yak butter? Barley?
In terms of actual interests, neither Britain nor the United States was any longer in a position to profit from exploitation of India or China, leave alone Tibet. I have to ask, why bother?
Divide to conquer...divide to maintain the conquest...divide to maintain the so-called United Sates & United Kingdom...until the fissiparity comes home to roost...immanent justice?

Brilliant work here.
Cheers Penelope!

And the Deep State is using it on the American people.

It worked.
Is there any war in recent times these MIC monsters DIDN'T start?
No!
Thanks for the informative article. I was ignorant of the instigation of the war.
