But HAS the US really stopped supplying intelligence to the regime in Kiev? It's not at all clear that this is the case anymore than the assertion that the US has stopped supplying weapons either. There's an awful lot of disinfo obscuring the situation. And in any case, if the US continues to supply intel to the UK then be sure, the UK is supplying it to Kiev!

It's all shrouded in the fog of war and does not make much sense even at the start of the war. It wasn't until I read this that I understand why it's illogical and crazy.

Think of the wars happening in Orwell's 1984....

I also doubt that they will end this codependent spying network. Perhaps officially it will be over, but we know that the intelligence agencies regularly lie to us and even themselves.

It's just like big brother intended.

Such question presupposes that US Empire operates as single monolith , how quickly we forget how many disregarded/disobeyed Presidents Trump first time around. It would be a grave mistake to think that the forces which for years profited by militarizing Ukraine and preparing it for war with Russia are all going to happily to whatever they can to help Trump end that war. Was it not obvious enough while Biden was in office, he always been hawk but he was not competent, What is common between these pairs, Sullivan & Blinken , Cheney & Rumsfeld , Kissinger & McNamara

The beneficiaries are the parasites, and they're not voluntarily going to change, but then it's about real capacity to sustain the MIC and endless wars. Capability is being hollowed out, and the economic means of sustainment is failing. If you read GAO reports on readiness and capability you'll see that things are not good.

The parasites in our society have no awareness that they make the body ill, that in time, they will kill it. The body, in fact, remains unaware that it is being consumed from within, because the parasites excrete a numbing distraction. Self-amputation is not an option, as the parasites have attached themselves to every essential organ. Death will come from within; external forces may hasten it along. In my opinion, the sooner death comes, the better. The world may not be able to survive the death throes of this belligerent empire.

Fantastic piece. These spying agencies may not be "scattered to the winds in 1,000 pieces" - but it would be a giant step for freedom if they could be bled to death re: fiances, and exposed by independent journalists ( even further) as to their tyrannical actions.

The corruption of the political sphere has been dastardly.

Corruption of trade and commerce is just as rife, and just as rotten.

Larry Ellison is the fourth richest man in the world, they say. His company, Oracle, is the database platform which basically holds everyone's personal data in the West: bank accounts; driver's licence; health records; police records, etc. etc. Oracle started out as a CIA project. Ellison's corporate business interests are fully enmeshed with the state surveillance apparatus; in partnership with the NSA. Big Data is Big Brother and Big Brother is Big Business.

The dice are loaded, the game is rigged.

*** The international spying network’s long-overdue end? ***

The European Court of Human Rights in 2018 and 2021 ruled GCHQ’s “population-scale” surveillance to be completely illegal.

Yet, the operations of Five Eyes have all along endured untrammelled.

“It is an outrage that I and other ministers were told so little, and this raises the question of to whom those concerned saw themselves ultimately answerable.” (namely, the US Empire.)

Obfuscation and concealment is part for the course for Five Eyes. - Indeed. Plus Mossad(?)

Kudos for another excellent piece establishing Kit Klarenberg as uncompromised journalist exposing Intelligence connivance.

BTW, I greatly appreciated your "You're the most arrogant person I've ever encountered on the internet!" rant, didn't take offence at all.

I did get amusement that in the emails, you were posting how much you liked a post barely 10mins later... that can't have been easy to admit (Been there myself a couple of times, lol).

Look forward to some more agreements/disagreements between us in the years to come. :)

You are extremely knowledgable and I'm guessing that we agree on almost everything except religion, LOL. My background is old order Amish. I grew up Amish and married at 19 and was even a steadfast Amish church leader as in song leader until I had an earth shattering experience that culminated in me having a born again experience, as christians call it. When I explained what had happened to me to the old order people, they thought I was crazy. Long story short, about three years later, I left the Amish church and since then was a member of a Mennonite church for about 15 years, then left them and have been in a non denominational church since 2006. Some of them are Zionist idiots that are afraid to mention it to me of course,LOL,LOL.

My wife is still Amish and we will be celebrating our 50th anniversary in November. We have 4 children, none of whom are Amish, but one is a Mennonite deacon. I love family and have an awesome one. I come from a family of 3 brothers and 8 sisters. Parents were totally awesome and my dad taught me the building trades.

I became an electrician in the late 80's and have a number of masters licenses of which don't mean jack squat because I have the most cynical attitude towards the electrical trades that it's possible to have. Most electricians are the most egomaniacal people you'll ever meet, because they have no idea how little they know, but they have a "Masters". What a crock.

Most peoples problem and mine too, is thinking they know more than they actually do. The dipshit that is the current president is a prime example of that and the scary thing is, he was the best choice.

I refused to vote for him because of his zionist supporting delusions but really had no idea that he was as fiscally ignorant as he is.

I'm also a prepper and try to be completely self reliant as much as is possible.....probably my Amish upbringing.LOL. I live in the midwest in the largest Amish community in Missouri, so that helps me get by on less money too.

I'm probably what you would refer to as a Jesus freak, but I do not believe that christianity as taught by Him is a suicide cult.

I build my own guns and everything that goes with that, as much as is possible. It's amazing what can be bought on the internet and machined how you like it. There is definitely some advantages to be had living in the USSA as far as personal defense goes.

I really enjoy your posts on the substacks that I frequent and believe that you've definitely got you're head on straight.

I'm a 1956 model as you've probably figured out by now.

Well enough of my rambling, ya'll have a great day!

Cheers

Wow! In all truth, I had you down as a likely mid-late 20s Russian guy. How far wrongerer could I get! :)

I consider the Amish one of the very few true Christian groups, they LIVE it, rather than just mouth it - and most Christians do not do even that. Needless to say, that doesn't make them perfect, either, lol. I'd be fascinated to sit down with a bottle of wine to hear the real-life stories, I genuinely would!

I don't know much at all about the Mennonites, I'm sorry to say.

Still, if there was a Christian Fascist takeover, and we'd both be facing the Wall, I'm sure I'd be ahead in the queue. ;)

Curious you should mention electricians in that way, my step-father was an electrical engineer - and while mediocre-to above average in that, was still a better electrician than a father, which tbf he'd never wanted to be anyway. Curious how life happens while we have other plans, isn't it? ;)

"Most peoples problem and mine too, is thinking they know more than they actually do. The dipshit that is the current president is a prime example of that and the scary thing is, he was the best choice."

That's just about the neatest, shortest summary of where we are right now. And we'd better get something organised soon, because these 4 years will pass in an eyeblink. The UK is in even direr straits, and there's almost no hope at all here atmo.

"I refused to vote for him because of his zionist supporting delusions but really had no idea that he was as fiscally ignorant as he is."

I couldn't have voted for him - it'd have been Stein - for exactly that Zionazi reason; although he may not be as fiscally ignorant as it appears - I suspect an AI working behind him on these moves. The Anglo Empire is in the deepest dodoo, and the moves were intended to soften the inevitable landing - they didn't quite work out that way when put into practice, however. I further suspect that AI is being used by many of the countervailing groups too - this may well be the first of the 'AI Wars'. That doesn't bring much joy...

FWIW I *LOOK* like a Jesus freak - a useful trait I've used to calm down Christians going over the mental brink at times in the past - and was raised as both Catholic and Protestant, before rejecting both at a young age, and 'protest' Atheism a bare few months later (Possibly the only theological position that makes even less sense).

Satanism being as attractive as mouldy bread with maggots in for a vegetarian; I struck out to find things that actually made sense to me.

After a couple of decades of hard work, I eventually settled into Pagan-Taoism, which has the very large advantage of not actually being a religion, and therefore no institution, and no hairbrained arbitrary rules. But the distinct disadvantage of also not having a community as well. :/

"I build my own guns and everything that goes with that, as much as is possible. It's amazing what can be bought on the internet and machined how you like it. There is definitely some advantages to be had living in the USSA as far as personal defense goes."

My online 'American dad' - who died on my birthday several years back, before we could ever meet in person to my deepest regret - managed to break my aversion to the US love of guns. Pacifist, neh? I did fire one in the territorials (Reservists), and.. well, it was kewl, of course. Still, the idea of having guns everywhere didn't seem very wise. I mean, I'm glad *I* didn't have a gun to hand at times; the idea of even less stable individuals I knew having them seemed like a recipe for catastrophe. But he constantly made the very sane point that when "The shit hits the fan", that means that ONLY the Establishment and State have the weapons... in recent years, this has very much come to the fore, and there is distinct wisdom in that insight.

And after all, the FF did NOT say guns were for 'self-defence', or even were for against crime - they are there to prevent the State becoming a dictatorship. They should only be used against officialdom. The US is the only country where the officials are sworn to protect the right to have themselves shot by the citizenry if they become arseholes, scuse the French.

Needless to say, that ideal was NEVER lived up to, as the Native Indians can attest. And the various warzones within cities at times also does.

72er myself.

Nice to meet you, Dacoelec. Fingers crossed there's years to come - my hair is almost pure white from the stress of the previous demonrat Admins taking us right to the brink. We are more fortunate in the West for the calm Putin and Lavrov than even Russians are, although the vast majority of our fellows may not appreciate that fact.

Thanks for sharing bro, and pleased to meet you too! I really wish we could meet and trade stories!

I brew my own whole grain beer, so we'd have to drink beer instead of wine. LOL. That piss that they call beer in the USA is not fit to drink.

As far as religion goes, I totally despise religion in all its many corrupt forms and am convinced that Jesus did too. Genuine christianity as taught by Jesus can hardly be found in the US other than in the Anabaptist offspring groups, ie, Mennonites, Amish, Hutterites, German Baptists, etc. and there is plenty of corruption in some of those too. Humans being humans LOL.

The American Evangelical churches are just money laundering entities, and even though I go to one and play the mandolin in the band since 2006, I only give to worthy causes like Chuck Baldwins church in Montana and to help individuals directly.

I just turned 69 and I have my fingers crossed also, that our stupid government doesn't start any more wars.

Your comment on AI is very intriguing. That never entered my mind! I'm still too old school, I guess. That is rather scary.

Looking forward to your future comments and wishing you the very best!

Our illustrious history; in cahoots w/innocents abroad. We are as abusive partners, as robbers, pirates of oceans, skies, & others' secrets. Not to mention governments, lands & treasure. Water wars & arable lands are next, no?!

Thank you, Kit, for your gifted scripts. Are they being compiled into a book?! Please. Do it. We are going to need this all in one teachable set. It's tremendous.

And beats reading any adventure of "fiction... "

When I read an article like thbis one, I begin to wonder just how real, transparent and valid our democracies are. When a foreign controlled "Intelligence" agency can remove a democratically elected high government official, the agency nullifies the will of the people. Not only is this anti democratic it is also treason!

Whatever might or might not happen at an overt/covert level to the Five Eyes, the unofficial sixth party - Mossad - is sure to take up the slack, both by itself and by its total infiltration of London and Ottowa.

If Trump does attempt to sever the link, then he will achieve little except endanger himself even more..

Personally, I do not feel that the likes of the UK's JIC (Joint Intelligence Committee - in which the US has always been represented) will ever be allowed to cease its business - though it may well morph into something else or even be driven underground.

Moreover as another commentator has noted, the likes of Peter Thiel, Larry Ellison and others run organisations which area pretty much already doing much of the same work. Frankly these once exclusively state-run operations are simply being privatised..And once again, Mossad is likely to provide the link..and is probably already doing so..

Excellent job Kit.

One day we should have a look at the London 7 July and Madrid 11 March terrorist attacks and see the connection with intelligence.

I believe that if the CIA/MI6 records were open, half Europe would have reasons to declare war on the US and UK. And nobody wants that.

What a can of worms.
