Thanks for underlining this important aspect of the story. In how far was this craven or cynical behavior dictated by lawyers? In how far was this animated by their business model that targets also the liberal US audience, since at least Bush's days? In any case, since then the Guardian has run further away from the truth-telling embodied in Assange: their Ukraine coverage is truly embarrassing.

No wonder the public are finally realizing that the MSM is completely untrustworthy. I don't access them anymore, but get my news from the NET.

Huh? The public is not finally realizing. Those of us who never trusted the MSM still don't and those who trusted it before any of this still largely do.

There are a handful of us who don't trust anything, NET or MSM, because everyone ultimately has some kind of agenda.

Yes, that is certainly true, so it is the reader's responsibility to discern if the agenda is just getting the facts out, or something a lot more sinister.
